Patricia is licensed by the State of Maryland as a clinical counselor, has national counselor certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors and the designation of Master Career Counselor from the National Career Development Association. She is also a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator practitioner.

With a B.S. from Emmanuel College, Boston, MA, and a Master's Degree in Counseling from the Catholic University, DC, Patricia has completed numerous post-graduate classes in counseling and career development at Johns Hopkins University, as well as training with Dr. Robert Hedaya in whole life Psychiatry. Additionally, Patricia has comprehensive training and experience in bereavement/grief counseling.

Patricia has presented to a vast array of organizations including International Monetary Fund, The University of Maryland at Shady Grove, National Institutes of Health, Women in Technology, Watson Wyatt and Business and Professional Women.
