WiT. Connect: Make Your Contacts Count! - Registration is Closed

We are pleased to announce that the National Association of Women Business Owners, Greater DC (NAWBO, Greater DC), Women In Defense, SECAF, the Association for Women in Communications (DC Chapter), and DC Webwomen have agreed to be co-sponsors for our Connect Event.  This is very exciting for us as it is the first time we have had co-sponsors and will allow attendees to increase their networking pool.

Did you know that less than 20% of the people we’ve surveyed have the network they need to accomplish their goals?  And yet, all it takes is skills - skills that everyone can learn.  Your confidence and competence with new skills will help you succeed both personally and professionally.  JOIN US and learn the new rules and tools of the 21st century!

In this program you will:

• Master the 3 key moments in every relationship
• Learn the 6 stages of trust building
• Find collaborators and build partnerships
• Learn to connect ideas that lead to more substantial conversations
• Remember names - - and help others remember yours
• Develop your "elevator speech"  that speaks to your character & competence
• Learn how to uncover resources and opportunities
• Make the most of memberships, associations, and conferences
• Handle awkward networking situations
• Learn how to become an expert and resource for others
• Know what to do and say in a variety of professional situations
• Round up talent, expand your knowledge base, and become more visible inside your organization and the ones you join
